CULTURAL MEET

 

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research started hosting an Inter-IISER Cultural Meet (IICM) in 2018. In this cultural fest-cum-competition, students from the various IISERs and IISc Bangalore represent their respective institutes in competitions cutting across the arts, music, dance, theatre, filmmaking, literature, and photography over a span of three days.

SPORTS MEET

 
 
The IISERs also host an inter-IISER sports meet, the IISM (Inter-IISER Sports Meet) every year. These premium science institutes compete in various sports events for bragging rights for one year. Each IISM has intense competitions, passionate displays of sportsmanship, tons of trash talk, explorations of the host city and of course fun and new friendships.
